skyBuilders skyPages is a complete content management system (CMS) and web publishing tool for your organization. With it, you may create your web pages before you reveal them to the public and schedule their appearance for a chosen date and time. With skyWriter, you will be able to create and maintain your web pages and manage other documents from any web browser. You do not need expensive web page editors with FTP access.
To add new pages, pull down the contexts menu and select Pages > .Manage Pages and Files.
You will be taken to the "root" of the File Manager. There you see the folders (directories) and files on your Community Computer.
Navigate to the file you want to edit.
If it is an HTML file, select it and click the skyWrite link (or double-click the file) and skyWriter will open.
If it is a Page Series, select it and click the Manage Series link (or double-click it) to get to the Series Manager. Now select the version you want to edit, and click the skyWrite link (or double-click the version).
Usually you will work on the latest version (at the top) and you should always Clone this file so you are editing a copy (and archiving the original work). If you only have Report privileges, you can only work on a Clone scheduled in the future. You need Edit privileges to change existing pages.
To edit old pages, you can log in and navigate to the File Manager, or you may be able to edit the page from a skyWriter link on the bottom of the page.
If your Publisher has turned on the skyWriter link like the one below, you just click on it and the skyWriter window opens directly (you may be challenged for your password).
