You may change the user's privileges of access to different Modules and Contexts.

Privileges apply to Users, and on a per-Module basis.

• Hide - The module will be hidden

• Read Only - User can Read, but not change anything (classic Unix Read permission)

• Tentative - User can request things, but the Administrator must approve them

• Normal - The Context Menu for Normal, Tentative, and Read-Only looks like...

  

• Report - exposes Module Contexts (items in the Context Drop-down menu) with a one-dot prefix (see below).

  Report generally allows people to get data from the database (e.g., Show All Members). It also allows skyWriters to write pages in the future, but not edit current page or archives.

  

• Edit - shows Contexts with two-dot prefix, allows editing of all pages. (classic Unix write permission)

• Administer - shows Contexts with three-dot prefix, allows user to set privileges for other users (e.g., Edit A Member).

In the Pages module, you may also set these privileges on a per-page basis. There they apply to members who are "Associated" with the page. You can assign them a "Role" for the page.
